• Scullcap aerials: Scutellaria lateriflora is native to North America and was traditionally used by Eclectic physicians in the 19th century as a tonic to nourish the nervous system and encourage restful sleep. Scullcap extracts contain significant amounts of flavonoids, including baicalin and scutellarin, which are believed to be the active properties accounting for its ability to ease tension and spasms, and calm the body into a restful state.
